PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Investigators have found no proof that terrorism, politics or any bias inspired a driver who consistently drove into folks together streets and sidewalks in Portland, Oregon, killing a 77-calendar year-aged lady and injuring nine other folks, law enforcement said Tuesday.
The driver, whose title has not been unveiled, was hospitalized and was expected to be booked into jail afterward, the Portland Police Bureau stated in a news launch. Police didn’t give the man’s problem or say why he is in a healthcare facility.
He’s accused of putting the lady, who was dragged a small length beneath the wheels of a tiny SUV, and then continuing to drive, hitting other people and automobiles. Immediately after the driver fled on foot, neighbors surrounded him right up until law enforcement arrived.
