
Willis Automotive Group announced Tuesday the dealership obtained Hummel’s Nissan.
Located at 4770 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, Hummel’s is the leading Nissan dealership in Iowa, according to the dealership’s web page. Hummel’s background extends back to 1929 when “Henry Hummel and his two brothers began offering and fixing vehicles in Beaverdale,” its web site states.
“For the previous 3 generations we have been a family-owned business,” CEO of Hummel’s Nissan, Mark Hummel, explained in a statement. “I really feel self-confident that the Willis spouse and children together with their group of car field industry experts will carry on our legacy of dealing with our shoppers with honesty and regard while preserving the title as Iowa’s quantity one Nissan supplier.”

Willis Automotive, situated at 2121 NW 100th St., Des Moines provides Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mini, Chevrolet and Volvo.

Willis Automotive also operates Willis Automotive in Clive, Willis Pre-Owned in Waukee and Huge O Tires in Ankeny, Altoona and Urbandale.
