Body-cam video shows stolen pickup driver slamming into Chandler patrol car

CHANDLER, AZ (3Tv set/CBS 5) – A chase involving officers from the Gila River and Glendale law enforcement departments ended with a driver in a stolen pickup truck ramming a patrol auto on Monday. It begun soon just before 12:30 p.m. with a capturing at a construction internet site around Gilbert Highway and Hunt Freeway. The officer was on the floor but turned just in time to see the pickup strike the patrol motor vehicle. The officer sustained some slight accidents, generally scrapes and bruises.

Police arrested Tyner, 39, at the scene of the crash. Court docket documents say Tyner explained to investigators a good friend experienced specified him the pickup, but he could not detect the person. Tyner was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault on an officer and endangerment. He was staying held on a secured visual appearance bond of $1,000.
